This Father’s Day 2026, we want to take a moment to recognize the men who show up every day, both on the job site and at home.
At CHL Services, the fathers on our team understand what it means to build something that lasts. They know firsthand how important it is to balance long days on the job with being present for their families.
Construction work isn’t easy. The hours can be demanding. But these men understand that what they build isn’t just structures–it’s security, memories, and a better future for the people they love and the people they have just come to know through each new project.
At CHL Services, the work we do matters. Whether it’s building a deck that will host family cookouts for years to come, finishing a basement so the kids have more room to play, or remodeling a kitchen where families gather over meals and make memories, we understand the importance of the spaces we create.
Outside of the job site, what matters most to the fathers at CHL, is FAMILY.
There is something virtuous and admirable about a man who works hard to provide for his wife and children. Which brings us to our honorable mention: Chris Bryant, CHL’s founder, proud father, and family man.
Chris founded CHL Services in 2015 and continues to lead our team with the same dedication he brings to being a dad. His approach to business has always been rooted in the same values he lives by at home. Those values include being a leader, doing quality work, communicating clearly and honestly, and taking care of the people around him. His hands-on approach and commitment to doing things right have shaped the kind of company we are today.
We asked Chris to share a few words about being both a father to his son and a business owner. Here’s what he had to say:
- What does being a dad mean to you while also running a company? – “Being a father always comes before business. It is the second most important thing to me outside of my wife.”
- Has fatherhood changed the way you approach your work or the kind of projects you take on? – “Absolutely! It has given me a unique approach on how to design spaces. Kids matter!”
- What’s one piece of advice you’d give to other dads balancing work and family? – “We aren’t saving lives as a contractor. Outside of the lives inside our four walls called home; does anything else really matter? In other words, work will be there tomorrow, your kids won’t. Make the most of it!”
